In 1997, Mr. Saito joined KPMG Tokyo, where he was engaged in statutory audits primarily for manufacturing and advertising companies, package audits for Japanese subsidiaries of foreign corporations, financial due diligence services, and self-assessment operations for financial institutions. Subsequently, he worked in in-house accounting roles at general corporations and conducted statutory audits for manufacturing and real estate companies at the Nihonbashi office of an audit firm. In 2006, he established Phoenix Accounting Group Co., Ltd., and has since been supporting the overseas expansion of Japanese companies.
